Meet the Doctors
Board Certified in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Preventative Medicine
Dr. Vijay Narasimha received his medical degree from M. R. Medical College in Gulburga, India. He completed his surgical residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, NY, and went on to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Dr. Narasimha is also board certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.
Dr. Narasimha joined Surgical Associates in 2000 and has been with us since then.
Board Certified in General Surgery and Preventative Medicine
Dr. Darshan Thakkar received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College in Vadodara, India. He completed his general surgical residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and the New Jersey Medical School University of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Thakkar is also board certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.
Dr. Thakkar joined Surgical Associates in 2008 and has been practicing with us since then.

Dr. Keyur Chavda received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College in Vadodara, India. He completed his surgical residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA then went on to complete a fellowship in bariatric surgery at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Chavda has been with Surgical Associates since 2013 and is ready to serve all your General and Bariatric surgical needs.
